Home improvements are not being restarted. There's been some news lately, as Tim Allen has been reflecting on a Home Improvement reboot that could focus primarily on the lives of Brad, Randy and Mark. The actress rejected the idea of restarting the comedy, which aired from 1991 to 1999, and noted that it is no longer the same thing. Home Improvement followed Tim Taylor de Allen, host of the home improvement show Tool Time, and to life with his wife Jill and their three children Brad (Bryan), Randy (Thomas) and Mark (Smith).
“I would hear on Twitter or whatever, that I would come out publicly and say things that everyone agreed to do a Home Improvement meeting,” said Richardson, who earned four Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe nominations for comedy. Nearly 25 years after the end of Home Improvement, it's still easily one of the most identifiable and playable comedies of the 90s. This isn't the first time the Santa Claus actor has spoken about how to bring Home Improvement into the 21st century.
