How big are the mavericks waves today?

The direction of the wind is expected to be across the coast. Mavericks is a surfing spot in Northern California, just outside Pillar Point Harbor, just north of the town of Half Moon Bay, in the town of Princeton-by-the-Sea. After a severe winter storm in the northern Pacific Ocean, waves can usually reach peaks of more than 25 feet (8 m) and peak at more than 60 feet (18 m). The rupture is caused by an unusually shaped underwater rock formation.
