Colter Bay Village has a gas station and restaurants, a great place to refuel your car before continuing to Yellowstone. To make the most of the day, I recommend starting early, the ideal is to hit the road at 7 in the morning. Stay in Yellowstone until day 5 of this itinerary and take advantage of one of these day trips to Grand Teton National Park.
There are about 8 miles of trails that cross the Devil's Tower National Monument, the most popular being the paved Tower Trail that surrounds the Tower. If you arrive on time, hike the Red Beds Trail, a 2.8-mile trail that makes a larger loop around Devils Tower.
