All fireworks and alcohol are always illegal from Half Moon Bay to Montara - COASTSIDE BUZZ. On Tuesday, the Half Moon Bay City Council unanimously agreed to ban alcohol on city-owned beaches. FIRES are not allowed on the beach. Only horses are allowed on the dirt path that runs parallel to the paved coastal path that goes from Venice to Francis Beach.
Horse trailers can only be parked in Venice Beach. Horses are not allowed on state beaches. Beach users should remember that alcohol is prohibited on the cliffs of Half Moon Bay, at the top of the cliffs and on the beach below.
